      Winter Study Meeting

Oregon Biodynamic Group Winter Meeting
Saturday and Sunday, January 28th – 29th, 2017This year our Winter Study will be held at Goodfoot Farm!Goodfoot Farm is a small family farm, located on the banks of the Luckiamute River in the Hoskins area of Kings Valley, Oregon (20 miles northwest of Corvallis).Beth Hoinacki ~ Goodfoot Farm
38001 Alexander Rd., Philomath, OR 97370

Please come join us for a warm and welcoming weekend as we strive to deepen our study,
our work and discuss Biodynamics!

For our winter study this year, we plan to review the Oregon BD Prep Manuel and the current editing it is undergoing.  In previous meetings we have been discussing  how we and others make the preps, looking at various ways that we might want to experiment with as a group. These discussions have been a prelude to revising our OR BD Prep Manual.  We would like those who have been working on it to share the fruits of the labor!

Our focus of study will be out of Lecture 5 from Steiner’s Agriculture Course.  We will focus in on the plants used in the BD preparations.
Harald Hoven will be coming to town in March for a weekend full of his wisdom and experience pertaining to biodynamics, seed saving, and guiding us through the prep plants..plant vignettes….So for our winter study weekend, we will do our own prework!

We will also share in the presentations from those who attended the National Biodynamic Association’s Conference.

This is always a time for continued strengthening of our group through the understandings gained in our studies as well as taking the time to focus on collective work for 2017!

All are welcomed to attend and are greatly appreciated for their presence!
So please join us new and current members alike!
Please bring a brown bag lunch for Saturday and potluck items for Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch.
