Winter Green Farm

Winter Green Farm is a diversified biodynamic farm located 1/2 hour west of Eugene Oregon that has been operating since 1980. We have a 500-member CSA program, participate in 5 farmers markets, grow crops for wholesale and processing markets, and have a herd of beef cattle. We are seeking workers for the 2008 season. Starting wage is $8.00/hour. Full-time workers make $9.75 by the year's end. We don't provide housing for workers. Earth One Farm

Established 5 years ago, the farm is located in Roseburg. Our 107 acres property is dedicated to Biodynamic farming and preservation of the natural ecosystem. We have about 300 fruit and nut trees, a 1 acre garden, Jersey and highland cattle, goats and Tamworth pigs. We also use a Belgian draft horse. We are committed to seed saving and are growing mostly heirlooms varieties. We are looking for people interested in an apprenticeship program. There is a 50$ weekly stipend, as for lodging we have 2 nice bedrooms in the garage-office and we are starting to build a couple 12'x12' tree houses with woodstove... They should be ready in January...We have somebody that prepares organic meals each day and most of the produces are coming from the garden. We have our own meat, milk, butter and sometime cheese if we get extra time. Please note that drugs and cigarettes are not allowed. We welcome people all year round!
